Divorce and Depression/Martin Rosenfeld, JD

Dwayne Johnson is a successful actor and former wrestler. He has recently talked about his divorce at http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/19/dwayne-the-rock-johnson-o_n_5512237.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular. Mr. Johnson had experienced depression in the aftermath of his divorce. While he has recovered and is now in a new relationship, he has one bit of advice worth sharing. He feels that his decision not to hate his ex-wife helped him get on with his new life. Hate takes up much psychic energy. It often leaves one unable to pursue new possibilities and new challenges. For purely selfish reasons leave the hate behind and you get ready for your next chapter in life. There is little “down side” to pursuing such a life decision.
