Children and Their Parents/Martin Rosenfeld

On there was an article about comments made by Zakariah Al Sadh, brother-in-law of Osama Bin Laden. Al Sadh claimed that Bin Laden had hopes that his children would get a western-style education and forsake terrorist activity. While that may seem a stretch, the comment that closes the article was of great interest to me.  Al Sadh stated that the surviving children, who are minors, are living under virtual house arrest.  His comment in this regard was that children are entitled to a caring and nurturing environment, whatever you may think of the deeds of their deceased father.

You may or may not agree with Al Sadh, but one does have to wonder what people who choose to make their divorce process a “death match” might be thinking relative to the effect of their actions on their children.  Children deserve to have maximal chances for success in life.  Consider this if you ever find yourself in a divorce situation. Mediate don’t litigate.
